Čezeta e-Scooter

Explore with an icon. Experience Prague in a way that is anything but ordinary: from the seat of a Čezeta scooter, reimagined with modern electric technology while maintaining its iconic design. A piece of Czech heritage reborn for the 21st century — and at Josef, it’s yours to try.

Čezeta 504E

Manufactured from 1957 to 1964 in Czechoslovakia, the Čezeta was more than just a scooter — it embodied a sense of possibility. For a generation, it meant independence, movement, and style at a time when those things felt like luxuries. Instantly recognizable, it became a cultural icon.

In 2017, the legend returned, preserving the unique character that made it a classic while embracing electric technology.

Exclusively at Hotel Josef

Josef is the only place in Prague where you can experience this design classic firsthand.

As our guest, you can borrow an electric Čezeta for a spin around the city. We provide everything you need: matching helmets, a short introduction to get you started, and a custom map that highlights our favorite places to stop along the way.

Our handpicked route through Prague

Exploring Prague by Čezeta is unlike any tour. It’s personal, playful, and free. That’s why we’ve created a curated map with routes that balance iconic landmarks and hidden corners. The suggested ride takes about two to three hours: enough time to see the essentials while uncovering discoveries only locals know.

But the beauty of the Čezeta is freedom. If a side street tempts you, follow it. If a gallery, park, or view calls your name, stop and enjoy. In true Josef spirit, you’re free to keep exploring.

Čezeta: A Czech Legend

The Čezeta was originally launched during the height of the space race in the 1960s, when Czechoslovakia was one of the world’s leading motorcycle producers. With its space-age silhouette, curved lines, and comfortable seat for two, it captured the spirit of freedom and innovation.

Reborn in 2017 as one of Europe’s first electric vehicles, the Čezeta carries forward this spirit. At Josef, we celebrate its blend of heritage and modernity — a fresh interpretation of a Czech design classic.
